In my opinion, Dr. Harris is the best surgeon and physician of any kind I’ve ever met. I had a lisfranc injury that took away my ability to walk, but Dr. Harris was able to fully restore my health and in a much shorter time period that I expected. Aside from giving me a life-changing second chance to walk again, what makes Dr. Harris shine is the care and personal attention he has provided since day one. His knowledge, experience/reputation, and ability to explain things in normal words I can understand calmed my nerves about going into my first surgery and eased my anxiety about the recovery journey I was about to start. Dr. Harris made me feel comfortable as a patient and I quickly developed a level of trust that I have with few people. Aside from the physical recovery, this confidence and the exceptional care by Dr. Harris helped me mentally and emotionally get through two surgeries and a year of recovery. I am now back to 100% health and activity and appreciate so many things I used to take for granted. As busy as he is, Dr. Harris always makes each person feel like they are his only patient. In addition to being an amazing doctor, he is simply an amazing person period!
August 2015, I had a ruptured achilles tendon due to a work related accident. My health insurance gave me a list of doctors to choose from and decided to go have my achilles tendon surgery done by Dr. Harris and it was the best decision of my life. I’m so thankful and extremely happy with the result, on the 8th month after surgery, physical therapy, and determination I was able to go back to work without limitations. I consider myself fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Harris. Dr. Harris is, by far, the kindest, wonderful, professional doctor/person I’ve ever encountered (I work with doctors as a profession). My experience with his office was flawless (always on time, great staff, pleasant environment).

Dr. Harris is one of the best surgeons and physicians that I have ever been treated by. I was initially referred to him from my internist whom said he is the one of the most prominent ankle surgeons in Los Angeles. I appreciated that at our first consultation - Dr. Harris encouraged me to explore physical therapy options as an alternative to surgery. When he ultimately decided that ankle surgery was my best course of action - he communicated all the risks and benefits sincerely and clearly so that I knew I could trust his medical expertise and understand the risks and rewards of the surgery. The surgery went flawlessly as did my recovery. I think Dr. Harris is one of the most skilled surgeons, and one of the genuinely nicest doctors that I have ever been treated by. One week before surgery i got a second opinion from the famous Kerlan Jobe Clinic whom verified Dr. Harris's diagnosis and treatment plan and I ultimately decided that i felt more comfortable with Dr. Harris because Kerlan Jobe felt like too much like a number in a ortho factory and Dr. Harris and Congress Medical were focused on the individual patient rather the masses. I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Harris is a breath of fresh air in comparison to almost all the other orthopaedic surgeons I've seen (at least half a dozen in my life). He's kind; he listens well, and he knows his stuff. (He corrected a very poor misdiagnosis I received at a high profile SoCal orthopaedic center.) I would trust him with any O. issues I have.
